I originally come from Finland. In 2017, after I had already lived abroad for some time, I moved to the Netherlands to study a field I had dreamed of for years - psychology. I pursued a BSc degree in Psychology and then a MSc degree in Health and Medical Psychology.

After graduation, I have been working in various roles related to holistic well-being, primarily as a health coach for people living with various chronic illnesses, such as IBD, rheumatoid arthritis, and eczema.

Above all, I am fascinated about how our mental and physical well-being work together and influence each other. Sexuality is, in my opinion, a perfect example of this—it undeniably involves many physical and psychological components.

During my bachelor studies, the idea of a career in the field of sexology crossed my mind. This thought lingered in the back of my mind until I finally decided to start my sexuality counseling studies at the Sexpo Foundation in the fall of 2023. 

I graduated from my sexuality counseling studies in September 2024, and I am now diving one step further as I am on my way to become a sexuality therapist, expecting to graduate in October 2025.

It truly feels like I have found my calling—a job where I can leverage my strengths, continue to grow, and contribute in a way that I find immensely meaningful, helping many along the way. 🧡💜
