I grew up in a small town in Finland. After spending some time abroad, I followed a long-held dream and moved to the Netherlands in 2017 to study psychology. What started as a dream turned into a BSc in Psychology and later an MSc in Health and Medical Psychology.
Since graduating in 2020, I’ve worked as both a psychologist and a health coach, supporting people living with chronic health conditions. What fascinates me most is the powerful connection between mind and body—how our thoughts, emotions, and physical health are deeply intertwined. For me, sexuality is one of the clearest examples of this beautiful complexity: it’s never just physical, nor just mental. It's both—and so much more.
Faith and religion are also close to my heart. Because of my personal background, I’ve become deeply interested in the challenges people face when their sexuality intersects with their spiritual or religious beliefs. In my free time, I volunteer with an organization that supports people struggling with these very issues. If you find yourself navigating the crossroads of sexuality and faith, know that I’m here to help, free of judgment.
The idea of working in sexology first sparked during my bachelor's degree, quietly staying with me for years. In the fall of 2023, I finally decided to act on it and began my studies in sexuality counseling at the Sexpo Foundation. I graduated in September 2024—and immediately knew I wasn’t done yet. I'm now continuing my education to become a sexuality therapist, with graduation expected in October 2025.
This work feels like home to me. It’s where my passions, values, and strengths align—and where I get to keep growing while helping others do the same. 🧡💜
